The Southern Star, Destin’s original dolphin cruise is hosting a special Fourth of July Fireworks cruise to celebrate America’s Birthday. Join Captain Steve Wilson and the crew of the Southern Star for a special evening cruise in the Destin Harbor.
The Fourth of July Fireworks cruise begins at 8:15, and takes off from the Emerald Grand Marina. After a quick trip through the Harbor and into the Bay, Captain Steve and the crew will find the perfect spot to anchor down for the show. With most fireworks demonstrations beginning around 9:00, visitors aboard the Southern Star will be able to see many of the area’s spectaculars, including the fireworks hosted by the City of Destin, The Emerald Grande, and the City of Fort Walton Beach.
The Southern Star will also be hosting traditional dolphin cruises during the day. These adventures set sail at 9:00 am, 12 noon, 3:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. The Southern Star’s two hour cruises are a relaxing and enjoyable way to explore the natural beauty of the Emerald Coast.
